By now most of you know that our Seniors Centre has had to close due to the City of Brampton’s closure of City Hall and all recreation centres and events, as part of the Covid-19 safety procedures.
I posted this on our Facebook page last week – but for those of you who do not follow Facebook here is what information was provided to us on March 13th:
PLEASE NOTE: KNIGHTSBRIDGE SENIORS CLUB & COMMUNITY CENTRE WILL BE CLOSED –
FROM MONDAY, MARCH 16TH, 2020 - SUNDAY, APRIL 5TH, 2020 INCLUSIVE.
STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES - AND ANY CHANGE IN THESE DATES - AND, OF COURSE, OUR RE-OPENING DATE.
KNIGHTSBRIDGE MEMBERS (& FOLLOWERS) - WE WILL MISS ALL OF YOU - BUT HOPE ALL OF YOU STAY WELL & STAY STRONG DURING THIS STRESSFUL TIME.
To bring you even further up to date – there is really no further information available about a re-opening date, and I do not want to guess at anything quite yet! All will depend on how we all do our parts in putting up with self-isolation, or quarantine, depending on your personal situation. However, Here is a good link to the City of Brampton Emergency Management plan - for your information. This is a great resource:
Thank you all for your patience and understanding – as soon as I find out anything at all, I will pass it along to as many of you as I can.
My best regards,
President – Knightsbridge Seniors
